Porter Advisory is pleased to present works at The Yard with Geometric Relations, an exhibition of works by Wayne Adams and Melissa Dadourian opening January 2, 2019  with an opening reception with the artists on Friday, January 25 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at The Yard: Gowanus, 157 13th Street, Brooklyn, New York.

Gowanus based artists Wayne Adams and Melissa Dadourian explore shapes, relative parts, textures, and colors in Geometric Relations while also exploring human relations, self-perception, and culturally learned beliefs. Adams’ works combine unexpected materials like faux fur with bright colors and conventional shapes exploring masterful layering of materials. Dadourian creates powerful lines of vision with fluid tapestries implementing angles and curves within the composition. Her sculptures of papier mache synchronize with each other as well as amplifying the imagery found in her works on paper and paintings.

Through contrasting forms and colors, the abstractions of Adams and Dadourian are imbued with vitality and magnitude. Geometric Relations is on view from January 2, 2019 through April 19, 2019.
